When are WE held accountable??

Last night TMZ released a photo of what looks to be a beaten Rihanna. It actually looks like a photo taken by the police for investigation. Her face is bruised up. I will not post the picture, read on.
The LAPD released a statement in reguards to the leaked photo. I love my media outlets, and I completely believe in free speech and freedom of the press, but I also believe in a vicitims right to remain shielded. Now I dont know if Rihanna was a victim, the TRUTH has not been put out there, but as a survivor of a violent crime, I can tell you this photo being put out on the net is like reliving the exerperince all over again. I know TMZ has the rights to do what they want and they are there in the "media" for shock value, but did not one person think of the effects on the person in the photo before they posted it? I mean there has to be just some kind of limit to what you will do to a person in order to humiliate them.
I support websites from DX to RX to 5star to world star for hip hop, and as a media/press person myself, I have to wonder if any of them who posted that pic thought of the human ramifications that it would do. and Why are they not held accountable for recieving stolen property. That photo was stolen stated by the LAPD, and I love you guys on the sites from allhiphop.com to ballerstatus BUT the fact is, you have to be held some how accountable for what you are putting out to the masses, and the HARM you are doing to someone, especially the victim of a violent crime. Did not one person on any of the sites not have an ounce of human compasion and think before they posted those photos?
I really think a situation like this needs to have a lesson taught. To many times the media is allowed to blow situations out of proportion, run rumors and hearsay and potentially ruin humans lives and just make up absurd stories for some hits.
again I support the free press, but I think this has crossed a line into what could be considered...inhuman and completely careless.
I dont like to deal with police, been that way for a long time, but in this situation there is no street justice that can be served to teach media outlets they are responsible for thier content. So
I hope that the LAPD,Rihanna's camp, and Chris Browns camp make an example out of every single person who choose to post that photo and they have TMZ all across the photo so they cant say it wasnt from that source.
To all those sites out there, to everyone who reposted the link to that photo, think about this:
if that was your mom, your sister, your GF your cousin your family member, would you really want that photo all over the net?
I know i wouldnt want my family member to have pain added onto pain.

Has Asher Roth responded to Copywrite diss??

Has Asher responded to Copywrite?

On Feb. 6th a diss track by Midwest MC Copywrite called “ The Real Fake Shady/Asher to Ashes” aimed at Asher Roth blew up websites across the net. It was first released on HipHopDX.Com

Copywrite slamming the up and coming artist Asher almost effortlessly using his dominating flow, word content verbiage as well as factual reference points.

Copywrite’s diss mentions moments like Asher’s first album was Dave Mathews band to the similarities to the voice of Asher to Eminem to referencing Ashers meeting with T.I. Through comments by listeners on different sites about the diss record, it was met with mixed reviews, as would be expected.

You may say that the diss record was uncalled for, or call Copywrite a “hater” but for a seasoned vet like Copywrite to take time out of his tour schedule in Cali to release a track towards Asher, it would seem that there is more to this release then just a straight diss. To me it almost felt like frustration from Copywrite to fans, labels, and outlets who have presented Asher Roth to the masses as almost an anomaly but to a seasoned vet like Copywrite could Asher just seems like a new kid on the block with hype?

Released on Feb 16th on HipHopDX.Com (the same website that released the Copywrite diss) is a new Asher Roth song called “Silly Boy”.

Could this be his answer the Copywrite’s diss?

One can only speculate since Asher didn’t name names or specifics to indicate a return diss to Copywrite in his new released record, BUT it definitely intended for someone.
It’s kind of ironic, at least to me, to read comments under the Asher track from people that state the same thing Copywrite did in his diss record to Asher.
Asher sounds very similar to Eminem.
I would want to think that if Asher Roth dropped a diss record or a return track it would be clearly stated, I mean we are in hip hop not high school, if you don’t state any specifics you lead the world to assume.
I'll let you be the judge:

I had to...

I normally don't do "blogging" on here, it usually a press release for a client and i did the year in review. but I have to say a few things about how DISGUSTED I am with media outlets and the Chris Brown situation.

here are some facts as of today:

*NO ONE HAS CONFIRMED IT WAS RIHANNA.

*The story has changed at LEAST 10 times since the first day

*Chris brown was arrested (turned himself in!) on CRIMINAL THREATENING not ASSAULT!

*Neither CB nor Rihanna attended the grammys.

That is the ONLY FACTS right now everything else is JUST A RUMOR! STOP FEEDING INTO THE BULLSHIT! Wait until facts come out. SEE IT FOR YOURSELF!!!DONT BELIEVE THE HYPE!

By our hip hop websites FEEDING off the RUMORS you are making OUR CULTURE LOOK STUPID! Stay to FACTS that is JOURNALISM! WE are not playing TELEPHONE here!

Second issue I have is with Kiss FM from Cleveland.

From E! to MTV they have been one of the first stations to ban all CHRIS BROWN SONGS. Instead of stating facts they have as well FED into the RUMORS, and creating thier listeners to believe in what they are saying as fact.

-ENOUGH!

I got a few questions for KISS FM-

When Rick Ross was accused of setting up an assault on DJ VLAD did you ban rick ross?

When Michael Jackson was accused of touching little kids did you ban his music?

When Brandy was accused to have KILLED someone in a car accident did you ban her music?

and for artists FOUND GUILTY-

When Shyne was sent to Jail on gun charges did you BAN his music? (i love shyne by the way!)

When Mob Deep member Prodejy was sent to jail did you ban his music?

When Young Buck assaulted a Core DJ did you ban his music?

When Beenie Seagal when to jail did you ban his music?

What about T.I?? (who i love as well) he looking at 30 years! are you going to ban his music? when his arrest was made public did you ban his music?

So why Chris Brown?

WHY NOT RIHANNA shes "supposedly" involved in this situation as well.

What are your numbers that bad you need to forget in this country its INNOCENT until PROVEN GUILTY?

You could have just sent out a company memo inhouse confidential that stated not to play his music and left it at that, but instead you make a huge statement as if people listen to your station?!

and to those that don't know about cleveland and arent here:
* I work in cleveland, play in cleveland AND NEVER HEAR ABOUT ANY OF YOUR EVENTS and SEE YOUR STATION NO WHERE IN THE CITY! The hip hop scene belongs to 107.9fm and even the college stations before kiss FM!

And I wonder-

if someone took the time to get your ENTIRE staff list, would NON of them come back with records, would not 1 of them have an assault charge? HMM....

and for all you suckas out there believing what the crazy ass rumor media is feeding you then look at this and wonder!
